Jolla’s CEO to present a keynote at MWC 2013 = the year of UNLIKE
Well it comes via mynokiablog, and gives us great big gallons of Jolla joy that Marc Dillon (Jolla CEO) will be making a keynote speech (alongside Elop) at this years MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2013.
MWC is THE single biggest event in the mobile handset calendar to be held in Barcelona 25-28 February this year.
Just visit the MWC website for further information and you will find the keynote speakers on this page: http://www.mobileworldcongress.com/keynote-speakers/
Via the link above, here is a snapshot of our favourite CEO Marc Dillon (TOP MIDDLE):
So now the anticipation begins all over again… what will Jolla be announcing at MWC 2013? Their new groundbreakingly amazing device ? More innovations on Sailfish ? Some amazing partnerships (maybe with Nokia as Elop is also there afterall). Or maybe something no-one has ever even dreamed of = UNLIKE ?
Let’s start the speculation here…. (can you tell I’m excited!!)
MWC 2013 = UNLIKE anything that has ever happened before

Whatever he is going to present I just want to know if Jolla smartphone will be dualsim for 2 SIM cards (phone numbers) or triplesim for 3 SIM cards (3 phone numbers). Personally I would prefer 3 as I need phone numbers for work and provate live, and I have 3rd sim with free access to internet. So triplesim would be optimum, but dualsim is absolute minimum. Hope he will tell this there!!!
…and I suppose Elop will announce he has just burnt another platform, I mean Symbina ['] R.I.P. or a memo leak perhaps or something like this IMHO.
I’m not that happy about the rumors that the first Jolla phone going out is in the midrange price range. That Chinese company is a least to me never heard of (maybe of course that is not so strange).
I would have been happy with a least two models, whereof one in the highend range, one that is almost bursting with hardware-wise features. That would really sound an echo in the business, because there are a lot of people out there I think that would be willing to invest in something newer and more powerful than this swamp of all-alike Android-based phones. ‘Unlike’ is actually a good buzzword when you throw the sales pitch, because nearly all phones out there today are almost alike both hardware wise and software wise. Throw in a physical keyboard, dual sim card, quadcore, medium sized screen, a stylus and why the hell not a good camera with xenon-style flash and stereo speakers for the good sound. The usual sensors and NFC capability of course. With badass multitasking Sailfish and the Qt based SDK on the software side its a winner, even with a high pricetag.
Zopo would release a phone with Sailfish OS. This is not the Jolla phone which may be reveal at MWC in Barcelona.
Jolla/SailfishOS will also be present at FOSDEM 2013 this weekend.

Are you guys still dreaming to see Jolla phones to markets? I can promise you wont see nothing year 2013 or 2014. I think Jolla boat will face tsunami already later this year.
And what do you base this opinion on ?
